Accounting Students: No IELTS 7.0 required
Changes announced by the Professional Accounting Associations (CPA Australia, Institute of Chartered Accountants and National Institute of Australia) on July 1st mean that graduates from Australian Accounting degrees now have 2 options for obtaining a Full Skills Assessment.
One options involves getting IELTS 7.0 in all bands. A new recognised alternative is to do a Professional Year in Accounting (SMIPA) which qualifies for Full Skills Assessment without the need of IELTS 7.0.
