Australia is the World's Happiest Country

Australia has been ranked by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) as the world's happiest country.

Based on a detailed detailed survey of 24 indicators in 11 categories--ranging from civic engagement to environmental quality- Australia has emerged as the top-performing country in the world. In particular, Australia has been cited for its strong community spirit and high level of life satisfaction.
