Liang Yu yu from China, ACIC Student, 2010

The Dream

To get Australian degrees and obtain a Permanent Residence (PR) in Australia.

The Difficulties

Yu Yu came to Australia at a young age and as a high school (HSC) graduate, had limited knowledge about the Australian education and migration system.

The Process

Yu Yu first contacted ACIC in 2004 with her boyfriend (also an ACIC student) whilst studying the final year of high school in Australia. Based on her consultants (Eric) advice, she successfully completed a Bachelor degree in Accounting by first completing an Advanced Diploma. After that, Yu Yu went on to obtain a Master degree in Accounting as well.

Throughout all the years between 2004-2010, ACIC has kept in close contact with Yu Yu to monitor her progress and to provide free on-going advice and service.

After completing the Master degree in 2010, Yu Yu came back with her boyfriend and asked Eric (ACICs migration agent) to assist her with her application for PR.

The Outcome

Following Erics advice and recommendations, Yu Yu has grown from being a high school student to a graduate with both a Bachelor and Master degree. In addition, Yu Yu was successfully granted PR within 1 week of lodgement.

The Comment from the Student

My boyfriend and I have been ACIC's student for many years. I first contacted ACIC back in 2004 when I just graduated from high school (HSC). My ACIC consultant, Eric, gave me lots of objective advice to help me choose my school and study path.

Under ACIC's guidance, I have now graduated with a Bachelor and Master degree in 2010. My boyfriend and I continued to choose ACIC for migration advice. With Eric's help, I received the latest information about the migration policy changes and application procedures. This allowed me to have a smooth PR application and in fact, I received my PR in 1 week. I sincerely believe ACIC is a very good agency that can be truly relied on.
