Australian Catholic University secures $45 million from the NSW Government to create a STEM Centre of Education Excellence at its Strathfield campus. The purpose-built centre will offer STEM education to students, community groups, residents, and industries in Strathfield and Western Sydney. The centre will provide pre-school programs, courses for junior and senior school students, professional development for teachers, short courses and microcredentials for learners of all ages, industry training, and Makerspace access. ACU aims to enhance its role as a leader in STEM teaching and learning, and the centre will help meet national STEM priorities and workforce demands.
