Queensland government - Removal of managed quarantine requirements for Queensland
Fully vaccinated international students can enter directly into Queensland Australia, without quarantine from 1am (AEST) on Saturday 22 January with a rapid antigen test required within the first 24 hours.
International students no longer have to quarantine once they arrive here in Queensland on or after Saturday, provided they;
- Are fully vaccinated with a completed dosage of a vaccine approved or recognised by Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA)
- Hold a valid visa for one of the eligible visa subclasses
- Provide proof of your vaccination status
- Have a negative COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) within 24 hours of entering the country
