University of Queensland (UQ) now converts the Gaokao cut off scores into a percentage. For entry into a UQ program, students need to achieve either 70% or 75% of the maximum Gaokao score for their province.

The new percentage scores are as follows:

70% for programs with a Queensland Rank requirement less than 85

75% for programs with a Queensland Rank requirement greater than 85
