University of Queensland (UQ) ranked 1st in Australia and 30th in the world
The University of Queensland (UQ) has been named Australia’s best university and 30th globally in TIME Magazine’s inaugural edition of the World’s Top Universities of 2026.
UQ performed strongly in the Innovation and Economic Impact indicator, which highlights the contributions of our graduates to global economic decision-making and society, as well as advancements in science and technology.
