Strong rankings performance based on excellence in teaching and research across multiple subject areas

The University of Wollongong’s (UOW) law, engineering, arts and humanities, physical sciences and teaching programs were ranked among the very best in the world in the 2023 Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings by Subject, released recently (Wednesday 26 October 2022).

In the US News Best Global Universities ranking, also released recently, UOW was ranked 186th in the world and 12th in Australia, its highest ranking to date.
