On 17 November, the University of Melbourne published updates to their ELR website to improve clarity and navigation, and to communicate important changes to their requirements.

Following new guidance from the Department of Home Affairs, the University of Melbourne has made the following updates:

• Revised English language test scores for existing tests: we have updated equivalent scores for our accepted tests, including TOEFL iBT, PTE Academic, and Cambridge.

• Acceptance of additional tests: we now accept LanguageCert Academic and the Michigan English Test (MET) to meet our ELR. We also now accept IELTS One Skill Retake (OSR).

• Removal of Cambridge C2 proficiency (CPE): This test has been removed from our list of accepted tests.
