The 2025 QS Sustainability University Rankings have been officially released. Based on a scientific methodology, this ranking evaluates universities worldwide on their ability to address challenges in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) aspects. It focuses on three key areas: social impact, environmental impact, and good governance, highlighting universities’ tangible actions and outcomes in sustainable development. 

This year’s ranking includes 1,740 universities from 107 countries and regions worldwide. The University of Technology Sydney (UTS) has once again ranked among the global top 50 for social and environmental impact, securing 47th place globally and 5th place in Australia.
