For all new students starting at the University of Queensland, a FREE academic preparation program – the JumpStart Academic Preparation Program (JSAPP), will be offered.

The JSAPP program allows students to get a taste of university life. It is one of the best decisions you can make to help prepare yourself for study at UQ. It will cover everything from academic expectations, study skills, essay writing, university level critical thinking and much more! The program helps students to become familiar with the university campus and meet other students in their faculty so that the first weeks at university are less daunting.

The JSAPP program is free of charge but there are limited places available in the program. As such, please be sure to register as soon as possible to secure your place. It is expected students will attend the full three days of the program.
