Monash University has achieved a top 100 global ranking in 43 disciplines in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2021.

Pharmacy and Pharmacology remains Monash’s strongest performing subject, ranked second in the world out of 856 universities considered in this subject across the globe.

Also making the top 20 list for 2021 are Mineral and Mining Engineering, Nursing, and Education, which all ranked 15th in the world.

Nationally, Monash ranked first in four subjects – Pharmacy and Pharmacology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry and Materials Science.

Overall, Monash achieved rankings for 45 subjects out of the 51 assessed in the rankings program, which examined 1,452 universities globally. Monash also obtained a top 100 rank for each of the five broad faculty areas of Arts and Humanities, Engineering and Technology, Life Sciences and Medicine, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences and Management.
