In the 2019 Alumni Awards, UTS was named the most popular university for the first time by the Australia China Alumni Association (ACAA).

Founded in 2007 with the support of the Australian ambassador to China, ACAA has more than 26,000 Australian alumni in China.

It provides a platform to show the contributions of Australian alumni to the business and cultural exchanges between China and Australia, as well as to help alumni to reconnection across China.

ACAA is open to all Australian university alumni in China and provides them with a wide range of services, programs and events, including the ACAA annual flagship alumni awards, mentoring programs, alumni receptions, career development events and industry seminar.
