The University of Sydney continues its rise in Global Rankings

Named 51 in the world, 2 in Australia

The University of Sydney has moved up nine places in the prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2021. This jump in rankings is underpinned by their excellence in research, their teaching reputation and an increase in academic citations.

The University has done well in all major rankings this year – THE Impact Rankings in April (up 23 places to second in the world), QS World University Rankings in June (up two places to 40th in the world) and ARWU Rankings in August (up six places to 74th in the world).
